World Wind Day is celebrated by all environmental countries on June 15 for a better future. While it is announced that the installed wind energy capacity of 753 GW worldwide has been reached in 2020, it is stated that all maintenance and repair services required by the turbines should be carried out with high-level technology in order for the wind, the savior of the future, to blow harder in our country, which is the most environmentally friendly and inexpensive solution among energy sources.

Wind energy, which reached a record 743 GW installed capacity with a new capacity of 93 GW installed worldwide in 2020, also provided a global reduction of 1.1 billion tons of carbon dioxide. Country Energy General Manager Ali Aydın, who draws attention to the fact that approximately 9% of the electricity need in our country is met by wind, states that they offer state-of-the-art maintenance and repair services for wind turbines so that the wind, which is a cheap and renewable energy source, can blow harder without stopping in our country.
Strong Wind Shapes the World
World Wind Day, which is celebrated on the 15th day of June every year, is celebrated in all environmentalist countries this year as the most environmentally friendly energy source for the future. Considering the danger of extinction of fossil fuels, their cost and serious damage to the environment, the importance of wind, which is a clean energy source, is increasing. So much so that with an installed power of 743 GW, wind can prevent 1.1 billion tons of carbon dioxide emissions in the world. It is stated that while the wind energy is always open for energy, which the world approaches with great care in the name of climate and the future, global measures and policies should be implemented to ensure carbon neutrality, and a clean future will be walked with confident steps by removing the obstacles in front of the wind energy sector. Stating that the realization of a record installation despite the pandemic points out how combative wind energy is against global crises, Aydın draws attention to the fact that wind energy has a large share in the economy and employment of employees of the future.
Record Setup in the Wind
Especially last year, 93 GW of wind energy capacity was installed all over the world. The growth of wind energy, which has reached an all-time high, is based on a more environmentally friendly energy approach, economic expectations of state governments on energy and opportunities given to investors. Stating that the latest technological maintenance and repairs carried out for the more efficient operation of wind turbines have a great share in this growth, Ali Aydın said that projects that support renewable energy, especially wind, such as YEKDEM in our country, have serious contributions to the growth of wind energy, and when we consider the growth and expansion of our country, the government states that they have more environmentally friendly and cheaper energy with the support they give to investors.
Technological Maintenance for Turbines
Compared to previous years, wind turbines are intervened with more technological, faster maintenance and repairs. According to Ali Aydın, General Manager of Ülke Energy, who stated that technological developments and the digitalization that it brings with it provide gains in many areas of wind energy, maintenance and repair services, which are an important gear of the wind energy sector, make wind energy stronger and more efficient. Underlining that they have achieved or even exceeded European standards for this purpose, Aydın also states that they have important studies and technological solutions, especially on how wind turbines can be smarter and how their production outputs can be more competitive. Aydın also stated that Ülke Enerji, the only company that is a member of both TÜREB and the European Wind Energy Association, has provided services to more than 1,500 wind turbines with expert teams and technologies to date, and continued to increase the efficiency of wind energy by performing blade analysis of wind turbines with unmanned aerial vehicles. He states that they have made significant gains in speeding up and reducing downtime.
