Ülkü Özcan is the new CEO of Türk Prysmian Kablo, the Turkey operation of Prysmian Group, the leader of the energy and telecommunication cables industry, and Ülkü Özcan continues her new position as of June 01, 2021.
After Cinzia Farisè, who has been the CEO of Türk Prysmian Kablo for about 2 years, was appointed as the MEAT Region CEO of the Prysmian Group; Ülkü Özcan has been appointed to the top management of Türk Prysmian Kablo.

Ülkü Özcan, who holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Marmara University, worked as a Senior Strategist, Strategy and Business Development Manager and Marketing Manager at Lafarge Turkey between 1998 and 2010, respectively. Ülkü Özcan, who took part in many positions at Çimsa Cement, a subsidiary of Sabancı Holding in 2010, was the CEO of Çimsa most recently. Özcan, who left Çimsa in 2020, provided consultancy to Turkish and foreign companies during this period. Ülkü Özcan, who took over the management of Türk Prysmian Kablo, will continue her successful work under the umbrella of Prysmian Group from now on.
Prysmian Group stands out with women’s employment
Making a difference with the importance it attaches to women’s employment, Prysmian Group, until 2022; in the total workforce, the rate of women, which was 16.9% in 2020, to 17-19%; it aims to increase the ratio of female managers from 21.9% to 25-27%, thus further improving the gender balance ratio.
