The feasibility studies for the establishment of a 500 MW Solar Power Plant in the Viransehir district of Sanliurfa were initiated by the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources.
District Governor Ömer Dereci said in a statement; Tı The Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources initiated a study to establish a 500 MW installed power plant in Viransehir. Feasibility studies are carried out for the system to be auctioned at the beginning of 2019. 1000 – 2000 thousand people will be employed in this process for the solar power plant to be operational in 3 or 5 years. We will endeavor to employ the people of Viranşehir. After the establishment of this facility, 300 permanent people will be employed.
Viranşehir citizens will be employed in the facility to be established in the Public Education Center will be trained by opening various courses. Successful candidates will start working immediately.
