Electric and Hybrid Vehicle Figures Sold in 2021 Announced

The sales figures of 100% electric and hybrid vehicles in the Turkish market have been announced. The number of electric cars sold in the first 6 months of 2021 has reached more than the whole of 2020.

In the first 6 months of 2020, 173 electric cars were sold. In the first 6 months of this year, it was 894 units. The sales figures of electric cars brought with the parallel import (gray market) method exceeded the sales of official distributors for the first time.

Hybrid car sales figures also broke records. Hybrid cars, which were sold 4698 in the first 6 months of 2020, reached 11,851 in the first 6 months of this year.
