ASUNİM, together with its partner Génese Natural in Portugal, will invest 13 million Euros in the photovoltaic power plant located in Faro and will have an energy production capacity of 24 GWh per year.
While the construction of the GES power plant, which is located on a gross area of 24 hectares, is currently underway, with more than 24,000 double-surface 540Wp solar panels distributed over an area of 14 hectares, a total power of 13MWp is being installed. Production will be equivalent to the energy needs of 7,000 houses.
While the Santa Bárbara de Nexe project is planned to be completed in 2022, it is aimed to build a solar power plant with a total installed power of 100MW in Portugal, including these investments by Genese Natural, a partnership of ASUNİM.
