Continuing its mega project in America, Mono Steel is going to the other side of the world, to Australia this time. Mono Steel, which was appreciated for its performance and quality workmanship in the 1st phase of the Snowy 2.0 Hydroelectric Power Plant Project, which was partially completed in 2020,
It is justifiably proud of taking part in the 2nd stage as well.
The first power produced in Snowy 2.0, which is planned to be completed with a “4.5 Billion Dollar” capital, is planned to be delivered in early 2025. It is expected that six production units will then be put into operation gradually. As well as being Australia’s largest renewable energy project, the project will support consumers’ safe and stable transition to a low-cost, low-carbon future. The project will provide approximately 350,000 megawatt-hours of large-scale storage through on-demand generation capacity. That’s enough energy storage to power 3 million homes for a week.
Famous business person, CEO of Mono Steel, which will start shipments in March for the second phase of Snowy 2.0, Mustafa Toprakçeken explains the project with these words; “Snowy 2.0 is a project we have worked on before. We contributed to the construction of the additional buildings and storage areas of the power plant in the first phase. Now we are involved in the construction of the underground tunnels and the underground storage center. We will continue to be an important part of the project until 2023. Our facility in Sakarya. , we will produce the steel structures and auxiliary elements required for the tunnels. And they will set off from Turkey for the biggest and most important project of Australia. This is a proud job for our company, our employees and our country.
