By 2030, it is aimed to store approximately 25 terawatt-hours of energy produced from renewable sources in the form of hydrogen by energy organizations operating around the world.
Studies are continuing for the use of hydrogen in the storage of electricity in order to prevent base load imbalances that occur with the increasing share of clean energy in electricity production.
According to the scenarios, 58 terawatt-hours of electrical energy produced from renewable energy sources will be stored in hydrogen form until 2050. It will be able to meet the energy needs of energy, transportation, industrial production and buildings.
