The Business World Plastics Initiative (IPG), implemented in cooperation with Global Compact Turkey, SKD Turkey and TUSIAD, was established at the end of 2019 to mobilize the business world for the joint solution of the plastic issue. Declaring that they will announce their plastic commitments for 2021 within the scope of IPG, the companies completed the commitment process thanks to events, trainings and good practice sharing meetings for more than a year and shared their plastic commitments with the public in June. Accordingly, 34 companies operating in the packaging, packaged consumer goods, retail and service sectors, durable consumer goods and raw material production, which have made a commitment to contribute to the solution of the plastic issue, have determined their concrete targets for 2023 by measuring their plastic footprints on the IPGTool database. determined.
Companies that share their plastic commitments under the roof of IPG; It will annually publish a progress report on its commitments until 2023, contribute to global and national advocacy and awareness efforts, and have the opportunity to benefit from the networks that IPG is connected to in order to disseminate good practices.
