Schneider Electric and AVEVA share a belief in how technologies such as the Internet of Things and cloud computing can make facilities smarter, more efficient and more sustainable. We want to accelerate the country’s manufacturing sector through technology and we are excited about this collaboration.”
Smart manufacturing technologies have the potential to reshape the way factories operate. Concepts such as 5G, Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), and artificial intelligence (AI) can reduce equipment downtime by as much as 50% and increase overall equipment efficiency by a two-digit percentage.
Oseid Faqih, Vice President, Industrial Automation, Schneider Electric, said: “In next-generation manufacturing, we need to connect every machine on the plant floor, collect data streams and analyze this information in real time to increase efficiency, improve safety, and reduce energy and water use. digital technologies will be used. Obeikan is a leader in this field and ODS has a highly respected reputation with the numerous digital transformation projects it undertakes. This partnership will make the Kingdom the manufacturing hub of an entire region.”
