VetroSGC Obtains Necessary Permits for ‘Berestovskaya Wind Farm’

The wind energy unit of the Russian State Atomic Energy Agency Rosatom, NovaWind A.Ş. VetroSGC A.Ş, a subsidiary of the company, received the necessary permission for the Berestovskaya Wind Power Plant. The total capacity of the power plant, which will be built in Petrovsky in Stavropol Krai, will be 60 MW.

The necessary permission for the construction was given by the Stavropol Krai Autonomous Institution, after the experts reviewed the design documents and came to a positive conclusion. Thus, the necessary step was taken to start the construction of the wind farm, which consists of 24 wind turbines, each with a capacity of 2.5 MW.

The positive result of the expert review confirmed that the construction facilities comply with the ground survey results and requirements set forth in all environmental, health, epidemiological and fire-related technical regulations, legislation, technical documentation and the City Development Code of the Russian Federation.
