Domestic and foreign opinion leaders are meeting at ZeroBuild Turkey’21 to discuss the transformation into ‘Zero Energy Buildings’, which is one of the solutions produced for a livable world and made mandatory in the EU as of January 1, 2021, in all its dimensions. The forum, which will be held for the second time this year, will be open to everyone and free of charge between 22-26 September 2021.
Solutions produced specifically for Zero Energy Buildings, which completely eliminate fossil fuel consumption, are of great importance in terms of the environment and contribute to both the individual 
and the country’s economy. Transformation into ‘Zero Energy Buildings’, which has become mandatory in European Union countries as of January 1, 2021, will be discussed at ‘ZeroBuild Turkey’21, which will be held between September 22-26.
Setting off with the motto of ‘Act Now!’ this year, the forum will consist of 30 sessions, where 110 opinion leaders from 35 countries will meet, each of which will be referenced to the “Sustainable Development Goals” determined by the United Nations for 2030.
Time to act for energy efficiency and energy savings
Yasemin Somuncu, Secretary General of ZeroBuild Turkey’21, stated that the subject of Zero Energy Buildings, which is of great importance in energy efficiency, will be discussed from all angles, including all main and sub-sectors, within the scope of the Forum. All relevant disciplines such as building materials, renewable energy, insulation, ventilation, heating, cooling, home automation, lighting, household appliances, finance, architecture and consultancy services, and suppliers and decision makers will come together on a common platform. While the best practices that have been realized are discussed, opinion leaders on the subject will share their knowledge in order to include the practices in the ordinary flow of daily life in all dimensions.” said.

The forum program, which will include local and foreign speakers, will be held for 5 days in a digital environment with simultaneous simultaneous service. On the first day of ZeroBuild Turkey’21, after the opening session in which the role of zero energy buildings in sustainable development was discussed, Green Procurement Strategies, compliance with EU standards, Green Agreement and their effects on Turkey will be discussed.
2nd day of the event; It will continue with the sharing of information by experts working on energy efficiency financing, building and material certification systems, photovoltaics integrated into buildings, measurement and verification. The 3rd day of the forum, SEPEV Day, will be held jointly with the Zero Energy and Passive House Association (SEPEV).
The 4th day sessions of ZeroBuild Turkey’21, the 3rd article of the “Sustainable Development Goals” of the United Nations, “Healthy and Quality Life”, the 4th article “Qualified Education”, the 7th article “Accessible and Clean Energy”. and the 11th article will be designed to point to “Sustainable Cities and Communities”. In the title of ZeroBuild Academy, T.C. In the program, which will be carried out jointly with the Ministry of National Education, up-to-date information will be provided to vocational and technical high school teachers with the participation of experts and academicians, and methods will be shared to quickly reach Zero Energy Buildings and campuses.
