Esitaş, one of the leading low-medium voltage transformer manufacturers in Turkey, sold all of its shares to Arteche, one of the world’s largest transformer manufacturers. In the acquisition, the exclusive financial advisory of Esitaş shareholders was conducted by Ventura Partners, which provides consultancy services to local and foreign companies on strategic partnerships, acquisitions and mergers.
Esitaş, one of the leading low-medium voltage transformer manufacturers in Turkey, sold all its shares to Arteche, one of the world’s largest transformer manufacturers. In the acquisition, the exclusive financial advisory of Esitaş shareholders was conducted by Ventura Partners, which provides consultancy services to local and foreign companies on strategic partnerships, acquisitions and mergers. While the processes were carried out online, this transfer process drew attention as the first company in the Turkish transformer industry, M&A.
Founded in 1946 in Spain, Arteche develops equipment and solutions for the electric power industry, including generation, transmission and distribution. With more than 2000 employees and operating in 150 countries, Arteche operates in Europe, America and Asia with a total of 11 production facilities and 6 research centers. Being among the three largest transformer manufacturers in the world, Arteche maintains its regional dominance in renewable energy and other product groups with high added value for the railway markets.
Established in 1984 in Istanbul and having two factories in Turkey and Indonesia, Esitaş manufactures low and medium voltage measurement transformers up to 40.5kV.
Online company sale to the world giant
