İnci GS Yuasa was deemed worthy of the Gold Export Award by the Uludağ Automotive Industry Exporters’ Association (OİB), the only export coordinator association of the Turkish automotive industry. Murat Senir, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of OIB, presented the award given to companies that contributed to the automotive industry’s being the export champion in 2020, despite the pandemic, to Cihan Elbirlik, the Executive Board Director of İnci GS Yuasa.
Inci GS Yuasa, a subsidiary of the well-established company of the automotive supply industry in Turkey, İnci Holding, and the Japanese GS Yuasa, the world’s battery giant, are among the important exporters of the sector with their exports to over 80 countries in 6 continents. In the Export Achievement Awards announced by Uludağ Automotive Industry Exporters’ Association (OIB), the only coordinating association of the Turkish automotive industry in exports, İnci GS Yuasa was among the member companies that showed superior export performance despite the pandemic conditions and won the Golden Export Award.
OIB Vice Chairman of the Board Murat Senir presented the Gold Export Award to Cihan Elbirlik, Executive Board Director of İnci GS Yuasa, by visiting the company’s Head Office in Manisa.
Elbirlik: “Our goal is to increase our exports by 3 times by maintaining our stable growth in global markets.”
Cihan Elbirlik, Director of the Executive Board of İnci GS Yuasa, who made statements on the subject, stated that they are one of the locomotive companies of the Aegean Region in terms of production and export, and stated that they are proud and happy to be deemed worthy of an award by the sector stakeholders with their export success. Elbirlik continued his words as follows: “As İnci GS Yuasa, we have contributed to the growth of our company, sector and national economy by continuing our production uninterruptedly despite the difficult pandemic process. We rely heavily on our deep-rooted knowledge and technology power that we support with our global partner. The batteries we produce are at the heart of millions of vehicles in over 80 countries on 6 continents. One of every four batteries exported from Turkey today belongs to İnci GS Yuasa. Since 2015, we have increased our exports 2.5 times and our total net sales revenues tripled. We aim to maintain our stable growth in global markets in the coming years and to increase our exports three times by 2024.”
İnci GS Yuasa produces with 3 facilities in Manisa; It carries out its global processes with its representative offices in Ukraine and the United Arab Emirates and a strong distributor network abroad.
