Uzbekistan State Statistics Committee, the country’s natural gas exports in the 9 months of the year to $ 2 billion in Uzbekistan’s foreign gas in this period, selling an average of $ 145 thousand cubic meters of foreign gas was expressed. According to official data, 56.4 billion cubic meters of natural gas was produced in Uzbekistan last year.
While most of the natural gas produced in Uzbekistan is consumed within the country, 10-12 billion cubic meters of natural gas is exported annually on average. China and Russia are the countries where Uzbek natural gas is exported.
Uzbekistan’s natural gas reserve, which is among the top ten countries in natural gas production, consists of 1.1 trillion cubic meters, while the government plans to invest 30.4 billion dollars in 78 projects in the oil and natural gas sector by 2021.
