Making a statement at the meeting held in Ankara, Minister of Environment and Urbanization Murat Kurum stated that with the Zero Waste Movement, 1.5 million houses have saved energy as much as one month’s electricity need, and said, “In this way, 16 
million houses can use 437 million cubic meters of water, which is equivalent to one month’s water use. we have saved. By transforming the 17 million tons of waste we collected, we have contributed 17 billion TL to our economy.”

ENTECH Fair, which will be visited by senior officials, decision makers and buyers of the public and private sector, is held to prevent waste, protect natural assets, gain environmentally friendly consumption habits and raise awareness on waste management.
